Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the conference "Developments in Modern Mathematics" will be held at the Mathematical Institute in Göttingen from 18 to 20 September 2023. Leading experts in some of the main research areas of our department will come together for three intensive days of research talks. Mathematical Physics, Operator Theory, Number Theory, Higher Structures, Topology and Geometry will be represented by plenary speakers and thematic speakers in parallel sessions. Recent developments in mathematics include increasing attention to gender dynamics in academia. A panel discussion and an expert presentation will address this topic.
When registering, participants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract and or to sign up to contribute a poster. The selected contributed talks will take place in session, in front of the experts in the field.
Financial support in the form of accommodation may be offered to a limited number of participants. To be considered for financial support, please complete the registration form before August 20th, 2023
