WHEN: June 25-27, 2015
WHERE: Texas Christian University
PRINCIPAL SPEAKER: Wolfgang Lück, University of Bonn and the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics
The summer's workshop "Thirty-Second Annual Workshop in Geometric Topology" will be held on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, on June 25-27, 2015. Principal speaker Wolfgang Lück will give a series of three one-hour presentations on L2-invariants, the Farrell-Jones Conjecture, and applications to 3-manifolds. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to give 20-25 minute talks on their own work.
Funding will allow to cover a portion of the travel expenses for participants without other means of support. Graduate student, recent Ph.D.s, and mathematicians in underrepresented groups working in geometric topology and geometric group theory are especially encouraged to apply for funding.
