Algebraic geometry and complex geometry
November 23 -27, 2015
The aim of this conference is to get together algebraic geometers and complex geometers, around recent topics of interest. It is organised by the GDR 3064 Géométrie Algébrique et Géométrie Complexe (Research Group of the CNRS, French Scientific Reseach Comity). Participants are mostly researchers from european universities but everybody is welcome to participate (please note that the number of participants is limited).
Mornings are devoted to 5 mini-courses, given by experts of important new developpments. Topics covered are :
- Stability and applications to birational and hyperkaehler geometry, by Arend Bayer (University of Edinburgh)
- K-stability and Kähler geometry, by Robert Berman (Chalmers university, Göteborg)
- Classification of compact Kähler varieties after F. CAMPANA, by Benoît Claudon (Université de Lorraine)
- Hodge modules, applications by Christian Schnell (Stony Brook University)
- Tate's conjecture for K3 surfaces, by François Charles (université Paris Sud - Orsay)
The afternoons are devoted to more specialized one-hour talks. They will be chosen by the scientific committee 3 months before the conference.
