Dear colleagues,
We would like to announce the workshop "XVI Young Researchers Workshop in Geometry, Mechanics and Control". The 3-day event will take place at CRM (Barcelona) from 1-3 of December 2021. It will feature three minicourses and a number of contributed talks themed around areas of Geometry, Mechanics and Control theory.
Minicourses:
--"Generalized geometry and complex Dirac structures" by Roberto Rubio (Universitat de Barcelona)
--"An introduction to Information Geometry: Dynamics on Statistical Manifolds" by Luigi Malagó (Transylvanian Institute of Neuroscience (TINS))
--"Graph-based optimal control with application to autonomous driving" by Kathrin Flaßkamp (Universität des Saarlandes)

There are grants available for early-career researchers at the graduate student and postdoc stage. Interested participants who want to apply for a grant or to propose a contributed talk, should pre-register no later than September 30.
