{{Notice that the deadline for pre-registering and proposing contributed talks has been postponed to the 15th of October}}

Dear colleagues,

This is a second announcement of the workshop "Lie theory and Poisson geometry", which will take place at CIRM during the week of January 10-14, 2022. More details can be found on the workshop's website: https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2629.html

Minicourses:
-- Marius Crainic: "Poisson manifolds of compact type"
-- Pavel Etingof: "Introduction to Poisson-Lie groups and quantum groups"
-- Jiang-Hua Lu: "Poisson structures from Lie theory"

Interested participants should pre-register and propose contributed talks no later than October 15th. We particularly encourage abstract submissions from early-career researchers, especially those at the graduate student and postdoc stage.

We expect to be able to cover the accommodation expenses of many of the participants, as well as travel expenses in some exceptional cases. Please let us know in the pre-registration if you would like to request financial support.

We would appreciate it if you could pass this announcement on to any of your students, postdocs, and colleagues who might be interested. We look forward to seeing many of you there!

Best,
Ana, Chiara, Alvaro, and MarĂa Amelia
