Abstract.
Skein theory is an easier alternative approach to representation theory for quantum invariants that is usually more appreciated by topologists. The first notion in skein theory is the one of skein vector space (or skein module). In this talk we introduce skein spaces and we give some examples. Then we focus on the skein space of the 3-torus: we show a set of 9 generators of this skein space and we briefly explain why this set generates the space.
